    Javelina DC Leaving

    From DCTF
    Texas A&M-Kingsville defensive coordinator Jonathan Petty is expected to assume the role of cornerbacks coach and passing game coordinator for the Huskies. Petty joined the Javelinas prior to the 2020 season as special teams coordinator and secondary coach before taking over the defensive coordinator position before the 2021 campaign.
    Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"

                And to be more specific.....

                Its has nothing to do with TAMUK, WT, ANGELO, etc.

                I am just tired of watching coaches bounce around in dII for a few more coins.

                I watch some really silly moves made for chump change. Sometimes, a little longevity gets you a lot more in the long run.

                Look at Girsch, for example. 18 years at St. Ambrose before coming to Angelo. He could have job hopped like 95% of football coaches,but he didn't.

                        That got filled a few weeks ago by Travis Bush. I wouldn't doubt his name might have been tossed around down there since Salinas is from Edinburg.
