With the exceptions of a few upgrades doesn’t look much different then when I went there


If they aren’t maintaining 12,000 then Tarleton has ran off and left them behind from the stone fort to a modern university on TAMU’s dime. At least they are getting a return on their investment

And, TAMUC's football attendance has TANKED. Last week opening game, 4400 in attendance. 5 years ago opening game 7700...8 years ago 6800.

And they are already getting their azz handed to them tonight 27-6 at the half.

To be fair Commerce could have competed with most FCS schools a few years ago while Colby Carthel was there.

Commerce's current issue is whiffing on head coaching hires after Carthel.

Seems familiar with both WT and Commerce post Carthel?

Tarleton, ACU, and especially IW have seemed to get their legs under them after the transition.

Let's revisit this in 2026'ish to see where they are at.

You know I am very disappointed with the way transition has went for Commerce. They should’ve went to the WAC not the rag tag Southland. Then, the they let go of Bailiff who did better than I thought he would.

The transition appears to be in total disarray when compared to what Tarleton has done. The old saying two ships passing in the night definitely applies here.
