It's quite literally the first thing you see on UTPB campus as you come off of HWY 191. There's nothing in front of the building so I don't think you know what you are talking about. There are plans for new facilities on the UTPB campus. Astound Broadband stadium is the 2nd best stadium in the conference as well so it's not like UTPB is hurting because of the stadium. 15 minutes is not that far of a drive.

It's the HS stadium. Not UTPBs stadium. And that's okay...MSU-Texas plays in a HS stadium....Angelo used to...and so did WT. As your program grows, they will eventually have the financial commitment/resources to get their own on campus football stadium. Versus driving 13 miles to another city to play. When football games are on campus, the gameday atmosphere will be electric. Plus, on campus facilities do wonders for recruiting vs hs stadiums.

We will be driving the RV down for the WOU game on 10/28. Our schedule says the game is in Odessa, UTPB site says game is in Midland. Has site been determined yet? The UTPB website shows the tailgate is at Ratliff, is this accurate? How is the tailgate @ UTPB? We were impressed with ASU and Kingsville, ENMU was a disappointment but we did meet some nice alums last weekend. Not sure where we should set up, I'm going to call campus security on Monday to see what our options are.

That game will be at grande in midland. Tailgate is by grande stadium in between it and the minor league baseball park.

With the new staff and excitement the tailgate has gotten better… still have work to do there.
