The Lady Buffs remain undefeated after beating Lincoln 6-0.

Hailey Stoneking hit for the cycle in today's game. The last Lady Buff to do that is Kim Lecomte in 2010.

The undefeated 18-0 Lady Buffs host Tyler later today. Tyler is still rated #1 in the nation but Angelo is not far behind and gave Tyler their only loss of the season.

WT’s fielding, which got them eliminated last year, has seen some improvement recently. Tonight will be a good test to see how good they are. No unearned runs please!

Sadly I won’t be able to watch as I have an early day tomorrow in Cadiz and Seville.

A split is pretty good against #1 Tyler.

Boyer got hammered in that first game but her hitting and Heidi’s excellent pitching produced a win in the second.

WT gets a split with TWU. The first game was 10-0 WT.

In the second game, TWU came out firing while WT got sloppy with fielding and Heidi had a bad first inning. I’ll have to say TWU earned the game. Their fielding was outstanding. 4-0.

Yeah, that was a really messy 1st inning. No late game hitting heroics for Lady Buffs either.

Flosports goofed up and had today's game set for Saturday. I sent them a note, and one to Amanda at SR. So the video is now on.

In the recent past WT has been half asleep in the second game of the double headers. I hope that doesn't happen tonight.

Chip were you able to make the road trip? I'm sure Amanda would have been very welcoming.

WT KILLED UTPB in DH 12-1 & 16-7 today.

Angelo won their DH against WNMU 6-0 & 6-5.

UT Tyler won theor DH against TAMI 8-0 & 5-3

I suspect WT will win at home vs Angelo on Friday and Angelo will win at home vs WT in the last meetings of the season on April 25th.

WT swept Angelo last night, 10-6 and 8-7. In the first game Angelo went ahead 3-0, which included a horrible fielding attempt by WT. The outfielder came in and the infielder went out with the ball dropping between them. Coach Mook came out and had a very brief conversation with the entire team, which got them playing better.

In the second game WT got ahead 6-0. The Angelo coach, Travis Scott, had complained about several calls to no avail. On the final complaint, he yelled directly into the official's ear, which got him ejected immediately. I laughed so hard I almost fell off the couch. Scott is a very successful coach, with 998 wins and has won the National Championship. He and I have had exactly one conversation, in the rest room between games - about 10 years ago. I was polite, but wearing my WT hat. He went off on the officials at which time I left.

He was replaced by his wife, who is a former player. She got the team to come back from the large deficit. It was 7-7 in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs with the bases loaded when our freshman third baseman got a hit through the left side, ending the game 8-7.

For the 2 games it lasted over 6.5 hours, with several technical glitches. Unfortunately they make you watch an ad when you reconnect, even in critical moments. That was frustrating!

A few minimal glitches notwithstanding, it was worth it to watch. Angelo has a difficult roster for a pitcher to navigate. I haven't checked the schedules, but do Angelo and Tyler play during the regular season?
