CWU RB Henderson to Transfer

CWU RB Tre'Jon Henderson has entered the transfer portal with one year remaining. In 2022 he stepped up for the injured. Tyler Flanagan and rushed for nearly 900 yards! Then this past season he slid into the backup role and had some injuries toward the end of the season as well. But he can definitely top 1000 yards in his final season. He is from Texas so I will be wondering if the Texas teams of the conference send some offers his way!

CWU will be recruiting the Phoenix area this year with former CWU Alum Zak Hill being a High School coach now at Saguaro. I'd assume we might getting a few Arizona recruits.

Henderson offered by Kingsville. CWU will surely be facing him at some point next season!

WOW! What a surprise! Lynn got a good one! After watching spring ball, I was saying RB was wide-open for an incoming freshman to make an impact. Henderson will be a difference maker in Lynn's offense for sure.

I watched the spring game. I thought the fronts were pretty good and much improved. They are big. I think WT is much better at Qb. Johnson is electric. Realty didn’t get see him in full effect because of the two hand touch rule in the spring game. They were bad at RB, WR AND DB. I heard they had a couple of DB’s out. Watching WT recruit on twitter. It’s looks like they are addressing these positions. This is a pretty big get for WT.

Day 1 starter probably played into it. If I see Coach Lynn soon, I'll ask him and get back to you.

Looks like he played in 2023.

Flanagan was always the starter at CWU, but when he missed 2022 to injury Henderson stepped up big time. But when Flanagan came back last year he was the starter again. Henderson was the primary backup last season when he was healthy, but I think he did miss some time with injury.
