Lady Buffs face LCU in first round of the LSC basketball tournament. Unless there’s a miracle, that will be a quick one & done for the Lady Buffs.

Man I know "dynasties" dont last forever but didnt think I would see the time come this soon where a top seed team is probably looking at the Lady Buffs as a warmup first round game.

After football became a joke in the mid 2010s, the joke was cant wait until the "thump thump" after the 4th game. Now since both sports are trending mediocre, we might be waiting to hear the "ping" before the turn of the new year.

If Trump and Musk get their 100% way, my pension will pretty much be useless.

Tom's 9 yr ex asst, HC at St.Cloud, Quincy Henderson. Or Angelo State HC Vinay Patel. Both excellent! Vinay has more HC experience. Quincy plays Tom's style of ball.

Yeah and the Men got by the skin of their teeth in double OT.

Catastrophic loss by the Lady Buffs as ENMU was #5 and WT was #6 in the regional rankings.

Its hard to see Prock struggle and by extension Gerlich struggle at Tech as they both will likely be out at the end of the season.

I think Gerlich only hope is if #1 basketball recruit in the nation from Lubbock Monterey Aaliyah Chavez decides to sign with Tech on March 25 but that might be the draw to sign her if they get a more accomplish coach to show hope at Tech.

More than ever its make an ENMU type run for both teams in the LSC tournament for that automatic bid or both teams will have a long off season.

That was a helluva men's BB game last night. Buffs up by 9 at halftime. Down by 10 with @ 5 minutes left. A very exciting game. WT guard Ahmed Mohammed put the team on his back. 39 points!

WT Women were horrible this evening against ENMU. While EMNU deserves credit for their scheme and energy, this WT team has regressed as the season has progressed. Time for a coaching change.

Lipinski should keep Cory Hall as baseball coach. Also I hope he can keep Matt Stewart (track).

WT women will be lucky to make the LSC tourney. Even if they do, that will end it for this season. Really sad to see Lady Buffs basketball at such a low level. Mattio was bad but Prock is not any better. He needs to go.

He probably will. Except for softball (??) Lipinski could have complete head coach turnover of his major sports within 18 months of his hire. This season is it for Josh Lynn and I am sure he has been told that. Prock, you gotta be in the top 25. This is WT. Tom will go to SFA. His assistants have traditionally followed him.

Lipinski's legacy and future job prospects are going to be judged by the success of these replacement hires. Looks like he got a good one for volleyball. Pretty tough to replace someone that went unbeaten in conference.

Ladies played good 2nd half. Good D hit some shots. Men lack a Larry Wise and a good back up post. St. Eds D in 2nd half was phenomenal. Not surprised. It's coached by Jeff Evans. He won about 550 games at Amarillo Palo Duro in 20+ years. It looked just like his HS teams. Full court man trap all the time every time. WT missed 11 FT and several shots that just rocked around and bounced back out. St Eds shut down the paint, period!

WT men blow a 11 point second half lead and lose to St. Edwards at home. Playoffs on life support. Women erase a second half deficit to beat St. Edwards to keep their playoff hopes on life support.
