Just got back from the Bob. Very good performance for the Coo today. 34 - 7 final score with only the points allowed by the USF defense came with 4 minutes left in junk time against backups.

UIU seemed to sell out completely to stop Watson, and kind of forgot about the rest of the team. Watson still wound up with about 170 yards and two touchdowns, but it actually felt like he had a bit of a tough go at it.

Congrats USF on clinching your 25th consecutive winning season!

Watson Watch: Gabe finishes with 185 yards, bringing his season total to 1702. With 2 games to play he is 277 yards from the NSIC single season record of 1979 yards. His 23 TDs are currently 5 short of the NSIC record of 28.

Shane Ratkovich ties SMSU's single season tackles-for-loss record... for whatever that's worth.

Best of luck to him. It was fun while we had it.

I wish I would have known about him in week 3, I'd have payed a bit more attention to him.

The Moorhead announcers were the best on the 'net all year. Kudos for takin' the time to talk with both HCs, askin' intelligent questions and not down-playin' nor attackin' the problems faced by each team. Refreshin' for a change.

IMO the Dragons have the best production top to bottom in the entire league. Steve and Donn do a great job! The GOTEAM (game day production and promo team) is outstanding! They've won many awards for their productions the last few years. Today, for example, they had 9 live cameras (football and volleyball) and 2 streaming (swimming) going. Its crazy the coordination that goes into it.

While I won't go so far as to say I have heard many rude and classless things from him, I do know that I generally would rather listen to a screaming baby for 2 hours than listen to a Moorhead basketball broadcast.

That being said, I understand why a Moorhead fan would enjoy listening to those games.

I've just heard too much to have a reasonable thought a out him. I can certainly be emotional, but with him it is not emotion. When we moved to the area I would turn on games even if the Wolves werent playing if I was out running errands or something. When the Wolves play now I mute or dont watch. He is trash.

I made mention of that last week. Their whole production was top notch. Didn't feel like a small school broadcast at all. The commentators, while understandably rooting for the Dragons, weren't so biased they couldn't be objective. I was very impressed.

Small school, but remember that it's in a bigger market. They have the resources many other schools simply do not have in media production.

Sorry I missed your post last week. But you are correct. Top-notch without bein' totally biased. Made their points and moved on citin' the goods and bads of both participants.

Got 7 of the 8. Only missed on the UMC-UMD game... Will never bet against UMC no matter who they are playing.
