  • It's official now. Augustana OC Tyler Paopao is on his way to U of Idaho, presumably to be OC.

He was announced as the WR coach a week ago.

Paopao did a very nice job with the Augie offense during his two years at the controls. Wondering if Augie promotes from within or looks outside again.

Paopao did an excellent job as OC. A very cerebral person. There are some longtime assistants that might be considered.
Brink, Enderson and King. I think he will bring in someone with OC experience from NAIA or D3.

            • Other NSIC coaching moves..

              Jamestown names a new OC.

The Mary OC finds a change of scenery at BHSU.

Mary now needs an OC also.

                • AU lost two more coaches in the last couple weeks. One went to EWU and other UW- Whitewater. A lot of change with the Viking offense.

                    That hurts, 4 coaches total.

                    • Looks like USF RB coach Xavier Jackson is headed to Iowa Stste. He was very popular with the players.

..this was quiet by Mary. Marauders have a new OC.

Taylor was a GA last year at Kentucky..and been on staff with Boise State as an analyst before that.

Not too bad a gig for him, all things considered.

Dosch coached the sitting head coach and DC..between his time at UJ before as HC and then at Northern where both coaches were under his learning tree. Interesting situation.

He's probably in a situation like a Randy Hedberg where he no longer wants to run a program, but can still be a valuable resource for a program.

Taken from the Jamestown Sun article:

“It was a no-brainer from that standpoint,” Mistro said. “He’s a mentor of mine and somebody that I’ve looked up to for a long time. When the idea was brought to my attention that this was a possibility it was, ‘let’s do everything we can to make this work.’ For sure.”
