Bowling Green's hockey program has themselves in some hot water over hazing. Head Coach Ty Eigner and three players have been suspended by the school. Preseason Player of the Year Austen Swankler, who IS NOT one of the suspended players, has entered the transfer portal as a result of all of this.

BSU was outshot 61-15. Sholl stood on his head for the Beavers.

Beavers get Army tonight in Bemidji, the Black Knights lost to North Dakota 7-2 Friday night.

Augustana finished up the sweep with a 4-1 victory on Sunday!

It looks like all the turmoil in Bowling Green may have an effect on the program.

I was at both games this weekend and it was a ton of fun. I read about Bowling Green losing some key guys and their coach due to the hazing scandal so obviously they weren't at 100%. Augie's goalie Zach Rose is LEGIT, he was locked in all weekend versus his former teammates. Augie fans and students, myself included, have a long ways to go as far as creating an environment that is beneficial to the home team. I'm hoping that will improve naturally over time and especially when we can move into the on campus Arena.

You’d never know if based on basketball, but MSU does a great job of this in hockey. It makes it fun for the casual fan, which are aplenty.

Bemidji State lays an egg at Duluth, falling to the Bulldogs 4-0. Same two teams in Bemidji tonight.

Bemidji State drops game two to Duluth 5-4 in OT in Bemidji. BSU battled back from a 4-2 deficit late in the third to send it to OT, but couldn't hold Duluth off.
