Congratulations to Alaska Anchorage for their 4-2 win over Alaska Fairbanks on Saturday. The Seawolves only won one game in the Alaska Governor's Cup series with the Nanooks this season, but they weren't swept which is important to me as a fan. This is my favorite series in college hockey. And kudos to UAA for streaming their games on YouTube for free. Cash strapped UAF charges to watch theirs. Go Seawolves!

The Frozen Four is coming up in St. Paul, MN (Excel Energy Center, April 11 & 13). My favorite college hockey team Alaska Anchorage won't be there, but I'll be sure to watch on TV or online. Last year's final Quinnipiac 3 Minnesota 2 (OT) in Tampa, FL was very exciting.Last edited by crixus; 02-18-2024, 01:25 PM.

MSU got the sweep in their first round matchup against Northern Michigan.
In the Big10, Wisconsin was upset 2-1 by Ohio State - a series that was immensely pleasing to Maverick fans.
Gonna try to get to as much of the NCAA tournament as I can this year since the regional is in SF and the FF is in St. Paul.
