Unofficial reports saying Redshirt Joe just signed a lucrative extension. It may, in fact, make him the highest paid coach in D2.

IUP-TV got nominated for a regional Emmy Award for its sports broadcasts.
I have no doubt it's a quality product. Just imagine if anybody could actually watch it without the screen freezing every 40 seconds.

He should be healed up 100 percent by the time they start. He was injured around Thanksgiving last year. So, by the time (if) they play a game ... probably 15 months removed.
From what we saw in four games last year (3.5) ... he'll dominate on this level in a full season. Add to it Ethan is a major force so they will be a match-up nightmare.

I've been told by a very good source close to the program that the Demo rumor is inaccurate. He is planning to return this season. By the time they start he'd be a good 14-15 months from his injury and should be ready to roll.

So, being that Joe signed (5) freshmen, it seems pretty obvious a transfer will take Demo's spot.

But, as of now, I think they have 21 on the board. Their schedule is posted.

Hard to say, Boat. The PSAC obviously isn't the only conference with no Fall sports. Just in our region the CIAA has already postponed, too. I would guess it's a matter of time until all D2 conferences suspend Fall play.
But, if they aren't allowed to play they won't be allowed to 'formally' practice, either.
If playing a PSAC-only basketball season is the only option ... better than nothing.

Well, if that is true then you restrict the sched to PSAC only games. That way the the court will be level from a practice standpoint. Early games with no practice would be kind of rough but at least both teams would be the same. Either that or give up on your season 6 months before it even begins.

Speaking in pure hypotheticals that means basketball 'camp' could start Jan. 1. Perhaps games by Feb. 1.
Here's to being optimistic.
