Re: PSAC WEST
Joe briefly recruited the Daylon Harris kid out of Gateway High School several years back.
He went out to a JUCO in Nebraska. I believe he signed with UPJ last year but ended up staying at the JUCO.
Nice player.

Cleary has a magic wand finding guards. We'll see how some of these guys pan out.

Re: PSAC WEST
Quannis: You made me curious. Here's how the stats broke down last year (just for comparison sake):
Till Cobo
Minutes per game 30.6 34.4
FG% .494 .520
3PT made 29 30
3PT % .296 .429
Free Throws 142-195 73-100
FT % .728 .730
Points 640 443
PPG 21.3 14.8
Rebounds 361 291
RPG 12.0 9.7
Assists 38 89
Turnovers 58 65
Steals 40 37
Blocks 45 15
Of note in these stats, Till got to play two D3 games and a dramatically weaker non-conference schedule.
My assessment is they are both terrific players. Cobo wouldn't be a good fit in SRU's bang 'em system. Till would be a stretch in IUP's fast-paced system. Both would obviously do well anywhere they played.
Again, I think it comes down to each having a different role on their team. IUP typically doesn't have post players with gigantic stats as their offense is guard-oriented. Till's physical style is a perfect fit under Kevin Reynolds.
Give me first pick in a draft for this year ... tough call. Depends who the coach is.
I don't look for Cobo to have monster stats this year. They have way too many mouths to feed. He'll be a routine double-double but I don't see an fantasy-type stat lines. IUP has essentially 9 starters this year. Joe may need to be more therapist than coach.

"Way better" is quite the stretch. Till plays in an offense where everything centers around him. Cobo does not.
Till also wore out dramatically in the second halfs of many games last year. His conditioning needed some work this off-season.
All of that said, they are both very good players. Cobo did go 2-0 vs. Till last year.

Re: PSAC WEST
It sure is a tough time to leave. Smart move would more than likely be hire an interim IMHO and then a full search in March
