WV State signs three nice transfers:

Michal Seals who averaged 18 ppg and 6 rpg at UVA-Wise
DeAundra Murphy transfer from Marshall University. Murphy was a big scorer for Huntington St Joseph.
John Dawson, formerly of state champion Huntingon High, comes to State from Lakeland CC where he averaged 16 ppg and 6 rpg.

State returns 4 of their top 5 scorers from last year's team, including leading scorer Stone who averaged 16 ppg.
This is a team making a move upwards.

Murphy originally signed with Calhoun at YSU, correct, but then opted to walk-on at Marshall? Wasn't he briefly committed to AB, too, at one point?

He was originally going to Fairmont on a full-ride. When Calhoun went to YSU, he was offered an invited walk-on and accepted. But during the summer, he decided he didn't want walk-on status and signed a full-ride to AB. He got homesick and left at the semester. He walked on at Marshall but sat out a year. He was only eligible there this past semester. He is now at State where he will likely commute, if homesickness is still an issue. He is well traveled to say the least.
