First commit appears to be JORDYN BUCHANAN 6'5" SF from Cincinnati Taft HS. Ohio Division 2 First team all state. 20.4 PPG/7.6RPG Shoots 51.5/40.9/74.8. One drawback is his weight at 175 lbs which will definitely need to be much closer to 200.

For Cal’s sake, hope he’s not on the Waldo weight gainer plan. The PSAC is a tough playground if you’re lacking size and strength. Solid shooting percentages.

I have a bad feeling that the PASSHE financial crunch will drive him to his first choice a well funded private. But since those are a dying breed in D2, I guess he will be around for a few more years unless/until he can get over the hump that is IUP and make a run or two in the E8. Time will tell.

Very surprising to me that VULCANS MBB has posted their '24-'25 roster and schedule. NEVER recall having this info before September, at the earliest.

Many of them used to keep it hidden until the last possible date. I can remember years of IUP not posting until mid-October.

With social media today there's no hiding anything.

Nice start to the '24-'25 season with a 2OT 112-103 win for VULCANS MBB in Charleston. The teams seemed very evenly matched, 17 lead changes, with the exception of the CALU D being able to create 20 TO resulting in POT advantage of 16. 5 players in double figures led by Palek with 27 PTS and 10 RB. Polak also had 27 while Whitehead had 20 and 9 AST. Back at it almost immediately with a 12 noon start against GSU.

Does seem like a decent win if Charleston does as well as projected in the MEC (third).

We'll get some idea today when the G'EAGLES go against the C'HAWKS of IUP who got edged by MEC #6 GSU.
