'24-'25 Schedules

My stepson, in addition to owning a small business, works at a full-time job. My stepdaughter, who also has a full-time job and supervises several people, helps him out with it. After working their jobs during the week, they often are working at the business all day Saturday. They also are there various times during the week making product, picking up shipments to take to another location, etc. They probably work a minimum of 60 hours a week. A young lady at our church has worked as many as three part-time jobs at once to make ends meet. It's not that unusual for people to be working long hours these days. It's not cheap to live, especially if you have kids. And until we figure out a way to get more affordable housing built in this country, it's not going to get easier for a lot of folks. All this is a long way of saying the hours SIDs work are not so unusual these days.

I agree. In most industries the "40 hours" are long gone.

I think his point was (D2) SIDs are expected to work 60 hours a week but don't get compensated very well for it (i.e. 60 hours a week to make $55,000 a year isn't too hot). Before I'm corrected, I don't know what they actually make. I'm just taking an educated guess. I'm sure FS82 can provide some salary information.

Non-con schedule begins with 4 home games against reasonable opponents: West Chester, Bluefield, Shepherd, & Virginia Union

There's a winter break trip to Las Vegas where they'll take on Colorado Mines & Missouri S&T (for the second straight year)

And there's a weird home-and-home with Salem (perhaps as a Thank You for Salem stepping in to fill the AB gap last year? You scratched our backs, so we'll scratch yours now?)

It also generally costs D1 programs more to get D2 schools than D3 schools because of the difference in funding they have already
