I Hate to say it, but all that momentum Minot had is not existent anymore. They are n9 longer a regional team. My picks are NSU, Mankato, St. Cloud and possibly/probably SMSU

Good weekend for Peacocks...slow start tonight, but stormed back in 2nd half. They played well last night against Northern...again had a great run to end first half and was a good ballgame. Ultimately Northern size was too much. Of note in that game freshman Joe Smoldt connects for 25, followed up tonight with 18. He's averaging 13.9 ppg as a true freshman.

The biggest thing working against Bemidji tonight was the fact that Augie refuses to sweep or be swept on a weekend. They have played eight Friday-Saturday sets this conference season and split every SINGLE ONE. The only games not played on a weekend were travel partner matchups with Wayne and, no surprise here, they split those as well

The biggest thing working against Bemidji tonight was the fact that Augie refuses to sweep or be swept on a weekend. They have played eight Friday-Saturday sets this conference season and split every SINGLE ONE. The Mavs made a good run in the second half to reduce the deficit from 14 down to 3, before losing momentum.
Need a good performance this weekend at home; then win at least one of the two remaining away games in two weeks.

Yeah, now that Peterka is back in the mix, I don't see anyone that can even come close to Northern. Not even Justin on March 13 in Maryville. It is an awfully good club. Beat you inside, beat you outside, if you want to run, they'll run, play slow down and they will kill you with 3's. The best team this league has seen in quite some time.
