Northwest takes care of business last night at Kearney 85-57. Diego Benard seemed to be all over the place! The static on the feed was brutal, but I suffered through most of it. I thought maybe is was the app on my tv, so I tried my phone, but it was the same. I don't know if that falls on UNK or the network, but it was disappointing. Oh well, on to Hays!

Interesting... yeah, the picture was good, but it had an annoying buzz the entire game that was nearly as loud as the commentary. Static probably wasn't the right word. Like I said, I tried it on the app with my Firestick and on my iPhone. It was the same with both. A friend I work with told me he had the same issue trying to watch it last night... he gave up and turned it off. At half time, I clicked over a different game in the app to see if it was just the Northwest feed and that seemed to be the case.

Lol, I hear a buzz constantly. That person that said this was the golden years is full of you know what. Perhaps there was a buzz and I just didn't realize it was the feed. :)

NWMSU grinds out a hard fought game in Hays, KS with a 81-69 win over Fort Hays State. Redshirt Fr. Trevor Hudgins had 30 on the night.

Trevor, Joey & Diego carried the team offensively today. Hawk was 0 for January 26th but played good Defense. One of the FHSU pep band members paid our small crowd a nice compliment. He said we were cheering loud enough he could hear us over the FHSU crowd. Also an older FHSU grad told me he thought NWMSU players were better sports and nicer than the team they played 1/24.

Great exposure for the conference and for D-2. There are many mid-majors and low-majors that would want no part of you guys. Last year Northern State had Arizona beat at their place but ASU hit a long 3 to send the game to OT and then won in double OT. By the way, ASU came into KU last year and beat KU in Allen Fieldhouse so they were no slouch.
