Looking at Wayne, Augie, St Cloud and Mankato all going down tonight, it seems once again Northwest has separated themselves from everyone else in the region.

It is looking more and more like the Central region will run through Maryville, MO, but there will be 8 very good teams there no matter who ultimately makes it. Both the MIAA and NSIC tournaments should be exciting and the Regional will be some very good basketball.

NW has some very tough games ahead including road trips to Washburn, Lincoln, UCM, Lindenwood and Ft. Hays. We play PSU and MSSU at home only. MSSU has won last 2 against NW.

Yes, a long way to go before the regional is decided. I think we do get UCM at home also.

Sandbagging? All you have to do is look at current scores in the league. PSU goes down today by NSU. Teams better be ready every game in the MIAA this year.

NW disposes of MW fairly easy tonight. Really like MW announcers one of whom is Tom Smith.
