I was looking forward to Fox vs Janssen tonight but it was a pretty one sided matchup. Parker was dominant on defense and Janssen struggled to do much. 24-15-10 blks, triple double for Parker was impressive. I wish NSU could play more than 7 guys as that lack of depth is an issue. But it was a good weekend for the Wolves.

Only 8 total turnovers in the Winona (2) -Bemidji (6) game. Was it well-played? Limited pressure? Or just good decision-making on both teams, especially Winona? Anyone insight on that?

I hate to psycho-analyze, but Bryan is playing with no confidence. He looks as if he is afraid to shoot. I'd rather see Todd play 40 minutes and put up with his defensive (cough) lapses.

I have been betting on Minot to break out and win a game, especially against the sub .500 NSIC opponents. But they can't beat the #1 team in the south can they? I can't vote for that. Well... they did. Man!

If Riemersma and Todd have an off game offensively, we're in a world of hurt.

While it certainly wouldn't guarantee wins in place of all four of these recent losses, I have found myself wondering during this stretch what this team would look like it Plitzuweit hadn't been poached. Not only his scoring, but his overall vision on the floor and his noticeably-better-than-Matt-Todd defense.

That being said, it would be great if we weren't dangerously close to a 5 game losing streak regardless of who we have out on the floor this season.

Wolves running out of gas a little in Wayne. Lead down to 10 with 5 to play.

Moorhead up 4 on Augie at the half. Everything looks mediocre, this is brutal

Augie up 9-7 on Moorhead 5 minutes in, the only interesting thing so far is that Jeff Coombe and Levi Pearson are at the Pentagon for the 2nd night in a row, due to weather.

Wolves with a good start up 27-14 with 9 left in the first. The NSU players need name tags for the Wayne announcer.

The Warriors continue to flash periods of really, really good play. Then they seem to back off the pedal and kind of coast. If they can keep up the defensive effort they flash, they will be a tough out. Especially since they seem to have 3 legit scorers now.

The Mavs seem to be playing better, but Duluth losing Myer early in the game was a huge factor in their upset last night. Hopefully he is not seriously injured as he is one of the most entertaining players in the league.
