I had to watch numerous friends board a bus to go to a baseball game knowing my bus was headed to a tiny house in a boulder.

I was ticked and told him so. He tried to grab my arm and I pulled it away. So many parents called in to complain that they had a second bus.

I was also guilty of one of the seven deadly sins envying the kids with the box of 64 crayolas with the built in sharpener.

I remember all of the field trips that we took from school- Ft Belmont by Jackson 3rd, Snow White at Gustavus 4th, Shine Circus 5th, State Capitol 6th, plus Safety Patrol Days Twins vs Orioles in 1965. All great learning opportunities.

It sounded so, cannibalistic. Trying to remember when they changed it to "peach", which sounds much better. 1964?

What grade was it that you were in when your class went to watch the signing of the Gettysburg address? :)
