Other rumors I had heard involved assistant coaches from Summit League teams, but not this one. I don't honestly know much about him, but he does appear to have had some success in the past. Hopefully a decision is made soon so the new coach can build a roster for next season.

Sometimes, a program needs a short-term coach to help get a program back on solid footing, and then hand it off to someone who can bring it the rest of the way. NSU4LIFE's point is absolutely valid, and normally I would agree with you that he doesn't really fit the profile of a coach who would excite the NSU fan base, but it probably speaks to how badly Saul ran things into the ground there.

Should we be concerned with the lack of press releases regarding this new coaching hire? Or even the fact they haven’t announced anybody yet? I don’t want to discredit this administration but without a coach in place during the open transfer portal you’re sort of missing out when you need to rebuild a whole program.
