Just like old AA basketball in South Dakota...you could go 0-18 lose first district game, win the 3rd place district game, then win the regional game and be at the state tourney at a 2-19 record...haha

I would think it'd have to be...definitely since it became as big a conference. I mean, we can all debate all year up or down league, who is the best...but I'm pretty sure we all agreed on Concordia being the worst...right?

Yes- I'd have to say this is close to a #16 knocking off a #1 in NCAA tourney - not sure anyone ever, every would have picked this....5 win team!

Way off topic, but is the following for them as strong as it is for the MIAC?

WIAC is one of the better D3 conferences in the nation. They get a better following than the MIAC. WSU would be lucky to go .500 next year in that conference and that is not crazy talk. That is truley where the current roster will be at. This team you guys just smoked for the second time in 3 weeks had 3 1000 point scorers on it.

I still remember the 2009 game....the one sandwiched in the middle of a SMSU 3-game stretch against Northern. But that was obviously a much better Northern team.

UMD deserves strong consideration. Didn't even show up for second half. Concordia also beat Duluth by 10.

I should have just messaged. I only asked because I only know of the MIAC and know they have a crazy following. I ran in LaCrosse a couple times but wasn't sure how it compared fan wise.
