Elite eight set now. Two of the 8 teams are ones BU defeated this year, Barry and Lemoyne. Interestingly, only one number 1 seeded regional team made it, Ferris State.

Actually Le Moyne and West Texas A&M were No. 1s as well. I think you were looking at the seeding of the Elite 8. Ferris is the No. 1 now in the Elite 8 with Lincoln losing to Queens

This clip does not show the horrible call on Coles, but does shoe the last foul, this would not be called 99 out 100 times. I thought I would be over this by now, but guess not.

Not called "99 out of 100 times". You mean only 1 ref would get it right out of 100 chances? Amazing post.

If you watch the tape you will see that two refs called this foul at the same time. Both were sure he hit the shooter.

The foul on the shooter is not my complaint. Findlay should not even of had that opportunity and any objective look at the tape and photograph backs that up.

Kentucky basketball guru Oscar Combs Tweeted much the same the other day - that UL would be nuts not to hire Scotty.

Per CBSsports.com Louisville has relieved David Padgett of coaching duties. Louisville is expected to pursue Chris Mack of Xavier as their next head coach.

Great hire! Will be a great ambassador for KWC and bring in people that you can be proud of. Will probably have more 4 year guys that going to D1 and JUCO route. He has won everywhere he has been.

Excellent choice especially if the administration wants to win the right way, bringing in 4 year players who are students as well as athletes. I worry that if somehow UofL is as smart with their new hire as KWC, BU will be without Scotty and KWC will have taken one of the best replacements for him. Not so sure UofL is that smart though.

I assumed Drew would have been coming back if Scotty somehow got the UL job. Great hire and I hope it means we start playing again.

While I couldn't care less about the University of Louisville, it certainly seems that, with their hiring of Mack from Xavier, the U of L hoops program will continue to be "buddy-buddy" with Bellarmine.

Not that it really means too much but Mack's wife was former grade school and high school teammates and best friends with Danielle Atzinger Wiegandt, wife of Scott Wiegandt the Bellarmine A.D.
