I agree. Bu needs play smart, few turnovers, and let game come to them. Scotty keep his cool. USI has hot shooting night none of that will matter. Looking for stein and Hansen to have big games for a win tonight.

USI offense too predictable and thus why scoring is down tremendously. Bellarmine is the best defensive team in the conference. Not a good recipe for Wod to pull this one off. Conservative prediction is Bellarmine 78 USI 67. If Bellarmine plays well this game will get out of hand.

That was the best 40 minutes of basketball this team has played. Total domination. CC was going nuts in second half. Helped that USI just quit after the first two minutes of 2nd half.

Unbelievable game tonight! BU can't play much better, or maybe its USI can't play much worse. It ended up being a mismatch. When the Knights are playing defense like they did and are shooting the lights out like they did, not many teams can expect to stay with them. At a certain point it did look like USI pretty much gave up. Not a good last home game for them.

You ain't kidding. Looked like an NBA team just draining the 3s all night long. You play like that in the championship and nobody will be able to take you out.

I really liked the way BU used its length. We have had tall teams that did not play tall. I thought that Corbett was going to be a spot up shooter, but he is really showing he can score on the block and rebound. Scotty making teams pay for defending with 3 guards.
BTW, seeing Cook run out on the break is fantastic. The guy has the athleticism of a decathlete.

Taking nothing away from them here but Wod and his trainwreck team didn't even attempt to guard anyone. Bellarmine got as much defensive pressure in that game as they do in the layup line.

New to this site. Best Knights overall performance in my memory. Have to go back to the Hobbs (GOAT) era to match that.
Almost a perfect night for BU. Ferris St banked in a 3 at the buzzer to go to OT and won in OT. Still a lot of season left but would have been nice to start the first regional rankings in the top spot.

Ashland had Ferris State down by 10 points with 6 minutes left in game. As you mentioned they pulled it out in overtime. Still games to be played but Ferris State does seem to be on top right now in the regional. My guess is that BU, Ferris State, Findlay and Lake Superior State might be the top 4 in the first ranking (I think USI would have been there without the 2 losses this week). After that I see Drury, USI, Wayne State, and either Ashland or Northern Michigan, plus maybe Hillsdale and Truman State fighting it out for the other 4 spots in the top 8.
