Alex Cook, last 5 games: 76% from the field, 15 ppg. Remember, no preseason practice, no games 1st semester. He is just now getting up to speed.

Nah, they didn't want him anyway, remember? They're already "loaded" at the guard position. (Where's the laughing emoji?.....)

He is ruung the floor and he know his teammates will find him. Parker and CJ are a great spark off of the bench.

Love that it was Eberhard who asked the coach when the kid would be starting in his freshman year. He looks like a perfect fit for BU.

Still games to be played but Ferris State does seem to be on top right now in the regional. My guess is that BU, Ferris State, Findlay and Lake Superior State might be the top 4 in the first ranking (I think USI would have been there without the 2 losses this week). After that I see Drury, USI, Wayne State, and either Ashland or Northern Michigan, plus maybe Hillsdale and Truman State fighting it out for the other 4 spots in the top 8.
Ferris just finds a way to win -- down 3 points with 1.5 seconds left at Ashland and they get off a shot to force OT (case of foul on the floor and AU almost certainly wins). They beat Findlay by 1 point with 1.1 sec left. Ferris just seems destined to win the top seed. Could be a great regional regardless.

                        Literally, with Cook's vertical.

First regional ranking Ferris, Findlay, BU, LSSU, USI, Hillsdale, Drury, Malone, Walsh, Indy Surprised to see Findlay ahead of BU also surprised 4 GMAC schools and only 2 GLIAC schools. All four GMAC schools are former GLIAC schools. So what would have happened if the four GMAC schools had stayed in the GLIAC? Six from the GLIAC? I doubt it, those four schools would have had to play Ferris and LSSU and there would be more losses on somebody's slate. Makes it look like its wise to jump ships to a weaker conference where you won't have to take as many losses, fattening up on the likes of Cedarville, Trevecca, Ohio Valley, Davis & Elkins. To me those are easier wins than playing Ferris, LSSU, Northern Michigan, Ashland and Wayne State.

This was meant as no slight to Findlay - they had no problems competing in GLIAC. I can't quite say the same thing for the other additions although Malone jumped conferences a year earlier than the others.

We're good, I just try not to miss an opportunity to invite Bellarmine to join the GMAC.
