Guess what, y'all? We're heading in to the last week of the regular season!

Before we get there, let's talk about the week 7 results!




JavsFan - 95.3
gr8ness97 - 92.0

Javs was able to weather Peewee Jarrett's worst start of the season, as well as a poor performance from new pickup Eric McKan III, to eek out a victory over gr8. Javs did get 35 points from WR Tyler Kahmann and 29 points from RB Marcellous Hawkins. gr8, meanwhile, got 30.5 points from QB Isaiah Freeman, but that came at the expense of Shegog's 44.3 points on his bench. gr8 also couldn't overcome WR Marquis Gray's 3-point performance.

Fro-th_and_goal - 128.45
Mule Man - 117.35

Fro was also able to weather a poor performance, as he erased RB Trevon Woolfolk's 6-point game with RB Jada Byers' 34.3 points and QB Brandon Alt's 33.95 points to go with 26.3 points from Alt's favorite target, WR Dhel Duncan-Busby. MM, unfortunately, took a goose egg of his own with a DNP by RB Tre Stewart. He did get 55.25 points from QB Zach Zebrowski, the highest QB score of the week, but it wasn't enough to overcome that zero from Stewart.

Wayne Cavadi - 128.05
Runnin' Cat - 75.25

Wayne got a trio of big performances, with QB Braden Gleason's 45.75 points, RB Larry Martin's 26.2 points, and RB Dwayne McGee's 22.6 points. It helped him cushion the 7.5 point game from RB Jordan Terrell. RC had the highest WR score of the week, with Michigan Tech's Darius Willis putting up a big 37.2-point game, but he had four starters not able to clear 9 points.

And in what seems like a regular occurrence this year, the two highest-scoring teams of the week faced each other. It is the third time this has happened in seven weeks. It also happened in week 1 (gr8 vs Fro) and in week 5 (KleShreen vs Wayne). In this particular matchup, for the second straight week I had an RB go for over 240 yards, this time led by Charleston's Chavon Wright, who went for 276 yards and 3 TD for 46.9 points. I also got 35.25 from QB Gage Porter and 28.5 from WR Gage Florence. RB Michael Herzog chipped in 3 TD's of his own for 32.3 points. We could have cleared the 200-point mark had we hit our most efficient lineup, as we benched 53.3 points from QB Jack Strand and 37.3 points from RB Chris Collier. Matt yet again got a huge output from QB John Matocha, with 46.4 points. He also got 34.3 points from Matocha's battery mate, WR Max McLeod. Matt had a bit of a missed opportunity, as he benched 34.9 points from RB Jarod Epperson, and instead got 13.1, 12.4, and 12.4-point performances from his three starting RB's.

Position Week

Position week means everyone faces the person next to them in the standings. So #1 and #2 face each other, #3 and #4 face each other, etc.

It is pretty clear cut for myself and Fro. Whoever wins this week will be the regular season champion and the #1 seed in the playoffs.

Additionally, the #7 and #8 seeds are already decided. gr8ness97 will be the #7, and Runnin' Cat will be #8.

For everyone else besides the winner between myself and Fro, we're all jockeying for position, and anyone could be anywhere between the #2 seed and #6 seed.

We *do* have a fantasy-relevant game on Thursday, this week. So even though I enjoy having the extra day and a half for people to get their lineups in, we're back to a Thursday deadline this week. The deadline to submit your lineup this week is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19TH, BY 6 P.M. EASTERN.

You guys know the drill. Please post your starting lineup, with clearly marked starters consisting of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 RB/WR Flex, followed by your four bench players, clearly marked.
