My understanding is that the weight restriction is the only "rule" difference between sprint football and traditional football - is that so?

The last time Sprint Football was cancelled was 1943-45, in which Army and Navy won a different kind of Championship.

The Collegiate Sprint Football League is calling things off for the fall- except that Army & Navy might play each other. I heard about this back in the 1960s- it used to be much more popular, especially in the Northeast. There is a 178 pound limit for players.

NPSL (Nat'l Premier Soccer League) Action next weekend in Erie, Pa. Tkts on sale for dble header at 11,000 seat stadium. 1st game CLE vs PIT, night cap ERI vs BUF. I wish I was in town for that one. I mean at this time almost any live sports. Ya hear me.
