Yeah, that was unexpected, Massey had DSU at a 35% percent chance of winning. But it's been that way all over college football this year

You could probably make the case that 2 of the 4 GSC games were worth watching. Obviously DSU beating West Alabama is cool, but VSU/MC seems like it was more interesting than the final score would have you think.

You really think so? I mean I watch the Blazers anyway, but watching MC is like watching paint dry.

I get your point though the score was closer than expected for a long time.

UNK @ NWMSU 10/30 has major SR3 implications.

Came here to say this. If UNK beats NW, most likely it'll be a 2-way tie for the MIAA title and definitely mess with the regional rankings. The last I'd heard was that NW might get the edge because the Lincoln game got cancelled and therefore raised their SOS a hair. Who knows though.

It wouldn't it be a tie since the w/l % would favor UNK (1 more game.) And not only that, wouldn't H2H come into play? For RR's anyway..well if they are next to each other. Suffice to say, there are variables along the way, but the winner here has a good step ahead of the loser.

IF NW and UNK end season with same number of losses NW would have a slightly higher SOS by not beating LU

Games that look good this week:

#10 Augustana vs Minn.-Duluth: Duluth has had a rough go of it this season, but nothing in the NSIC is assured.

Northern Michigan vs Saginaw Valley: With the conference title likely decided and neither team in the playoff hunt, there isn't much to play for. But NMU has upped their game recently and Saginaw has been on a tear since starting 2-3 with all three losses against top-10 teams.

#13 Cal vs #16 Slippery Rock: Cal is valid but they need to beat the rock of they want to make the conference title game next week.

#23 Washburn vs Pitt State: Basically a playoff game. Pitt's hopes are on life support and a win here would give them a much-needed shot in the arm, while a WU win would bolster their resume.

#4 West Florida vs #21 West Alabama: UWA needs a win to stay in the playoff race, though the series thus far has favored the road team.

Mississippi College vs Delta State: The Best of the Rest in the GSC, both teams took it to UWF for a half and got crushed by Valdosta so I think they're pretty similar.

#19 Kutztown vs West Chester....The Golden Bears need this win to lock up their place in the State Game. Otherwise #9 Shepherd can step in to the Eastern division slot with a win over East Stroudsburg.

Bentley (8-0) at New Haven (7-1)-winner gets the NE10 title and a likely SR1 playoff spot. There is a chance for 2 NE10 teams in the playoffs if New Haven wins.
