  • Not everything is awful. Tennessee did something nice there.

I watched most of the last three quarters. Both teams made so many mental mistakes. But WSU got the win when they had to.

I'm loving how people say Pac-12's chances at playoff are over, but there are still 3 undefeated Pac-12 teams in the top 25. Utah, WSU, and USC. USC I know is tied with BYU (the last of the cougar teams to play this week) and Utah plays the team that let SFU score first, but should any of these 3 go undefeated I wonder if they could be kept out of the playoffs. Beyond that, teams to finish near the bottom are still undefeated in Cal and Arizona State too. Just because Oregon, Washington, and Stanford lost doesn't mean the rest of the Pac-12 should be out of the race already.

For possibly the first time ever, all 9 US service and senior military academies that sponsor football have won on the same day: Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, VMI, Citadel, & Norwich

Ain't gonna lie. I had no idea the Coast Guard had a football team.

                        • Pac-12 confirms officials botched the ending of the Michigan State/Arizona State game. ASU should have been flagged for leaping on the final failed FG attempt by the Spartans. MSU should have received a 15-yard penalty and an untimed down.

The refs were horrendous in that game. They were almost as horrendous as Dantonio's decision to shuffle the deck chairs on the Titanic with his offensive staff that has produced some of the worst offenses in college football rather than hiring a new OC and a new OL coach. So we get the same product we've had the last four years on offense while having a championship level defense go to waste. I pray that Dantonio is done after this season since he has proven he can't make decisions that benefit his program if it means hurting the feelings of his friends on staff.

Remember, these are the refs that are trying to be 'more transparent' after all their blunders last season effecting games. It is good of the Pac-12 to own up to the mistake unlike last year where they'd defend it every single way possible and beyond.
