And yea, D3 schools, because every other D2 school in the country was afraid to face real competition.

GLIAC was 8-1 against SR1 this year. Current GLIAC schools were 11-2 against current SR1 schools last year. There's a reason literally every champion from SR2, SR3, and SR4, lick their chops at the thought of facing the SR1 champion. SR1 is an embarrassment to the product of D2 football and has been for as long as the GLIAC was kicked out of it. Current SR1 schools are now 0-for-50 in winning D-II championships lol. Like come on nation. Not a single current SR1 school has ever won a national title in football. And only FOUR have even made it to the title game in 50 seasons. I know you're just trying to hold water but you don't need to. Everyone knows it's been a sunk ship at the bottom of the ocean for five decades.
Region 1 is the Detroit Lions of D2. For sure an embarrassment.

Your juggernaut league only played one team that made the SR1 playoffs. Findlay ended up above .500 because they played the lesser teams of their league and won out but ant least Ferris scheduled a better program than what GV did. Shameful. Everyone else the GLIAC juggernaut played was really the pits. So congrats on the beat downs of the barely warm body teams of Region 1.

IUP is so bad that it only beat your clap for credit school six straight times before Brian Kelly finally figured it out. Why not schedule IUP now and try to take the series lead. You only have to win 5 straight.

I mean the 90’sxwere great time for IUP against the GLIAC it was pretty much an automatic win. We are 12-3 all time vs current GLIAC members. The good old days!

IUP were the ones who ducked GV last year when GV's game against Edinboro was cancelled for COVID. So maybe ask your IUP people why they were scared to take the game because they knew they were already a fringe playoff team and didn't want an additional loss on their schedule. GV made the offer to them. IUP ran away and hid.

That’s bull****. They didn’t duck anything. Nobody in their right mind is going to play a game that big with implications with zero notice and no time to game prep. They weren’t scared, they just aren’t stupid like arrogant Midwestern college foosball fans. You seem salty about it. Boo ****ing Hoo the big bad Popeye The Sailormen couldn’t demand anyone in the Region 1 peasantry to play them on the spot when their sad little cupcake game vs the Groundskeeper Willies got cancelled. Boo Hoo Hoo!!!

You act like it wouldn't have also been last minute with no prep for GV? Are you admitting that IUP is so bad that they feel disadvantaged by playing on short notice against someone else who would be playing on short notice? If they actually wanted to be challenged, they would have played. Instead, they declined the offer and took the week off because they knew they'd get their teeth kicked in, and it wasn't worth a six-figure payday to them. That's fine. But don't sit here acting like you're all big and bad and then not acknowledge your team cowering away from a challenge when they had the check presented to them lol.

That’s nonsense. I’m admitting that our coaches were smart enough to laugh at that phone call with 2 days notice when they were still in a camp schedule and not planning to play for another week. You act like they had plenty of advance notice. Your game got cancelled a few days before Edinboro was set to show up and bend over like a whore for Your team and its payday. IUP doesn’t bend over for a paycheck. That’s beneath us.

I never said we are big and bad. That’s you with your insecurities. IUP is a regional power not a national one. We are who we are and our region ain’t going no place and we are getting our 7 playoff spots whether you overly entitled fanboys in the Midwest like it or not.

I guess when you are stuck being Ferris Buelker’s little beyotch year after year that you need somebody to
            lash out at.

I think you know better to argue with me. I’m just going to piss on everything you say.

IUP had a challenge..opening with two crossover games with teams that wound up in the playoffs last year and got a split. They had Covid issues the first week with Kutztown and then had Shepherd the following week and you think our coaches were going to pivot with two days notice and find a way to Meatchicken? That would be like North Dakotastan State asking you with no notice to go to their field and get rolled when you have Northwest Misery and Ferris Bueller State as your next two games and you didn’t have a game planned the first week so you opened camp later than the teams who did have a first week game scheduled. You didn’t think IUP opened camp a week later because they could with no first game scheduled OOC. No coach who has a brain takes that game in that position, sure let’s get our team ripped to shreds in a game with no preparation and a week behind the team paying you to roll over…yeah what a sales pitch!!!

Pittsburg Without The H State has won it 3 times. (one tie)
Fort Hays State - 2 times (one tie)
Central Misery - 1 time (it was a tie...with guess who)
                    Misery Western - 1 time

So really...teams not NW that won the MIAA out right in 15 years was 4 times. Not exactly competitive.

An MIAA title game would be amazing. IUPNation how has the PSAC adjusted their schedules for one?

So the last week of the regular season is the final of three crossover games between each division. If the first place teams of each division are not already scheduled the teams they both play now face each other and the two first place teams square off. Yes it’s a change but it’s with a weeks notice and the teams traveling were already preparing to travel across the state and they still get a full week to prepare unlike being asked to play a game with two days notice and a full day of travel.

IUP was scheduled to host Bloomsburg and Shepherd was scheduled to go to Erie. Shepherd got a shorter trip to IUP and Bloomsburg diverted over to Mercyhurst.

Each division takes turn bring the host. This year was the West. East hosts next year and so on..

                            It works out well.

It’s not. How often has Ferris Bueller State taken a game with two days notice and has to travel a long distance? We’ll wait. Why didn’t you guys just fill in the game? You own GV why not own them twice in the season?

                              :-)

not sure of the GLIAC, haven't been involved nationally. i will say outside of 4 teams at the bottom of the MIAA, you will be in danger every time you take the field against an MIAA team.
pitt state didnt exactly WALK through the MIAA. there were multiple games that weren't decided until the last little bit of the game and they gave everything that ferris wanted. same with NWMSU. they lost a couple of games one to the middle of the pack team and a few others gave them the business until they pulled away. they beat the number 3 team down in the playoffs on the road and were less that 2 minutes away from taking down the number 1 team in their barn also. our middle of the road teams in the MIAA are better than a majority of the rest of D2. id be willing to bet on that.

or, don't be scared. you'll walk away with a knot on our head and an L in your pocket.
