That game is now official, so the list is complete barring any late additions.

Schedule pages are now up on my site (featuring only D2 opponents): https://inkblotsports.com/d2stats/2324/mfb/index.html

Here's a network graph I made of how the teams and conferences are interconnected: https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/14449312/

That graph is fun to play around with. Thanks for sharing it.

Welp, time to dust off this thread... California (PA) and every MEC team but Concord now seem to have Alderson Broaddus-shaped holes in their schedules. Will any be filled at this late date? All of them still have 10 games and might be satisfied with that, but here are the other D2 openings each week:

          WEEK 1 (California)
          Mars Hill
          Michigan Tech

          WEEK 2 (Glenville State)
          Indianapolis

          WEEK 3 (West Virginia Wesleyan)
          Davenport
          William Jewell

          WEEK 4 (Frostburg State)
          Assumption
          Ferris State
          Grand Valley State
          McKendree
          Texas A&M Kingsville

          WEEK 5 (Fairmont State)
          Bentley
          Franklin Pierce
          Post
          West Georgia
          Midwestern State

          WEEK 6 (Charleston)
          Angelo State
          Bemidji State
          Mississippi College

          WEEK 7 (West Virginia State)
          Post

          WEEK 8 (Wheeling)
          New Haven
          West Alabama
          Western New Mexico

          WEEK 9 (West Liberty)
          Delta State

          WEEK 10 (UNC Pembroke)
          Central Washington
          Chowan
          Southern Connecticut

          WEEK 11 (Notre Dame)
          North Greenville
          Pace
          Post
          St. Anselm
          West Texas A&M
CIAA and SIAC teams that don't make their title game

Some of these are unlikely to sign up for last-minute games against MEC teams due to geography. Others, such as the NE10 teams, would make more sense.

How about the MEC office reworking the conference schedules so that the conference now has a true round robin schedule.

That would basically mean canceling all the other Week 1 non-conference games.

It shouldn’t affect week one. You now have an opening to put in the conference team you are not playing. Example-Fairmont and Glenville are not playing this year. The schedules could now be adjusted to accommodate a game between them. All the other conference teams could also be adjusted.

A complete round robin for 11 teams takes 11 weeks.

No, it only takes 10 weeks. You don’t play yourself.

It's only 10 games, but every team also needs a bye week since there's an odd number of teams. Thus, 11 weeks total.

With all the backstory between Chowan and UNCP this offseason it would be wild if those teams could agree to play in Week 10.

                          11÷2=5.5
Those 1/2 games are hard to play.
