Yeah, I've heard there were a couple of kinks with it, which definitely sucks. I'm just impressed they were both able and willing to put anything like this together

I'm a fan of the Border, Metro, Skyline and Yankee.

Fun tool to play with if you're a frequenter of this thread like I am.

Or...... maybe the future of the NAIA is still on solid foundation and will remain completely separate from the NCAA into the foreseeable future?
Given the current state of the NCAA (mainly due to NIL issues and a lot of other dysfunction that we may never be privy to) and the potential for DOJ anti-trust issues popping up, I don't see and NCAA/NAIA merger ever happening. If it were the case where virtually NAIA member wanted to join the NCAA in the first place, then the NAIA would've vanished a long time ago.

The SSC announced the addition of new sports today which lead me to an interesting announcement I missed. Florida Tech announced in May the return of Men's Cross Country, Men's Track & Field Outdoor, and the addition of Men's Track & Field Indoor. The interesting part is no women's teams added. Title IX was cited as part of the reason for adding these sports.

Florida Tech is also committed to ensuring that existing sports programs are not impacted. The changes come as the university reaffirms its support of and responsibilities under Title IX.

I think it was already mentioned on here that UC Merced is finally making the leap to D2 after years of speculation over it. Maybe of a little more interest to this place though is that on the Instagram post they made announcing the move, someone commented asking if there were updates on starting a possible football team there, to which the Merced instagram account replied "baby steps🤞". I almost hate to bring false hope to any ex-GNAC members on here, but could we see another D2 football squad on the West Coast sometime soon?

The NEC was on the verge of losing their autobid from becoming too small so yeah I think they were pretty desperate.

The fiasco that they had at the online meeting when they dropped baseball was epic. I thought that there would be fights like on Jerry Springer.

I read on Twitter that they are going to explore the possibility and even engage in some fundraising activities. Source is usually pretty reliable.

It seems as though Chicago State can barely support their existing athletic programs; I can't see how they would even entertain the idea of fielding a football team (Chicago already has enough bad football with Da Bears), not to mention finding a suitable location to play. For context: Roosevelt, which will be joining the GLIAC next season, plays their "home" football games in Arlington Heights. This would be the equivalent (hypothetically, of course) of Wayne State (Mich.) playing off-campus home games in Sterling Heights or somewhere in Macomb County.
