I watched Army Navy and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It may not be good football to you, but it is to others. Guessing the development of the football helmet was too late to assist you.

Spare us your logical fallacies and faux superiority.
The old “I like it so what you like doesn’t matter” tactic

it may be good football to you (who knows nothing) but the vast majority like to see passing and running in their offense

spare us your logical fallacies and, well it clear you are superior at anything - loser

Drinking on a Sunday? At least be original. Your work was plagiarism and really a poor attempt. You tell everyone what they should think and enjoy.

I will go with too many blows to the head as a faux football player.

I agree that the casual fan doesn't like it, and the pass sells more tickets.

That said, I like all kinds of football, and the variety in schemes is one of the best things about college ball to me.

The masses liking something, doesn't make those who like something different dumb. I've found that the opposite is true more often than not.

Then again, I'm an old dude and remember when the option ruled all levels of college ball, and the power-I ruled the NFL. Back then, pass heavy teams were thought of as soft, and too risky.

I am also of that age - I remember going to a game at Atwood stadium in Flint MI as a child to see a semipro football game that was basically played in the mud since it was late in the fall and the grass had stopped growing. Run centric offenses were more reliable in those conditions.

Neat side note - Atwood became maybe the first stadium not either pro (say NFL) or college to have Astroturf…. I didn’t play football on it but marched on it with my HS band several times. Very uncomfortable to march on compared to natural grass. I can imagine what it was like to play on…

Atwood was so bad before it got FieldTurf. Just looked like it was concrete painted highlighter green lol.

Yeah, I'm assuming that BillyGV has grandbabies to occasionally babysit by now. Always useful to have Disney plus for that.

Dude, I am still living the nightmare of the 2009 Regional Final.

Brandon ndon still does do a good job of twisting the knife as appropriate...

                          • You know blowouts can happen. It does quite often in the Super Bowl or college football championship games. LR is a very worthy playoff team that had a bad game. It happens and no one is immune to this occurrence. When the highest ranked teams get to enjoy homefield every week it becomes a big advantage to play the one who has traveled three or four weeks in a row. Just stating facts not making any excuses.

As someone who played their high school football there, that's exactly what it was.
