Did you read the rules of Harding? No alcohol!

I think Coastal Carolina’s and the soon to implode GSC have some scheduling agreement or something. That probably factored into it and the CIAA goes up to Maryland near the Pee Sack.

The GSC is on borrowed time. West Jawja is a goner and if one of their other big three teams move up they will probably have to merge into the CC.

I have never met a person who was enjoyable to be around that said they were proud of being from PA. You’re all the same replica obnoxious eagles fans that breathe stinks and BO is a month old. The kinda guys who have 3 ex wives because you keep hitting em but your cousin is a corrupt cop and helps you out because yall have a sigma male mindset. Tool bag weirdo, go feed your alcoholism you developed in college.
I don't have a fight in this but I am proud to be from PA and love it here. There are many beautiful parts of this country. And no, I am neither an Eagles or Steelers fan (yes Eagles are the most obnoxious I have ever met).

It's impressive that you can pack so much ignorance into a single post.

I think it's pretty ironic, though, that you live in a place I would liken to Hell.

To a degree but it’s the suburbs of Philly that prop up Harrisburgs finances.

                • No sweat on the new regional alignment. Just means Harding/GAC has to battle the MIAA for the Region 4 championship instead of battling the MIAA and GLIAC teams.

This would be the answer to all the *****ing on this forum. Hope they are able to get that done. At the very least it would potentially offer some new fun inter regional matchups, while letting the cream rise to the top.

They’ll still ***** when a Region 1 team gets a home game and the 4..th place team in the MIAA has to travel.

I feel that way about large cities in general, but the hyper-dense east coast is like the 7th level of hell to me.

CIAA has 3 teams in the SR1 footprint already with Bowie State in Maryland, Lincoln in Pennsylvania & new member Bluefield State in West Virginia. I do not understand the argument anybody has for swapping the CIAA and Conference Carolinas. Geographically speaking the CIAA in SR1 makes far more sense than the CC.

It's more of a numbers issue (6 ConfCar schools vs. 12 CIAA schools) to balance out hte numbers between SR1 and SR2, but CC football footprint would extend from Rome, GA to Pembroke, NC.

Jeez I forgot about Lincoln….same county as West Chester!

The CIAA/MEC/Pee Sack are a region in basketball, so it really makes sense in who got moved in after the GMAC was moved.

                              • A few thoughts here. Certainly the first move seemed like getting the GLIAC and the MIAA split up..and that's now happened. That's a step in the right direction.

However, that was just 1 issue with the current system. The 2025 regional config still has a significant lack of competitive balance between the Super Regions. The reality is..there's no way to have that when the brunt of the top teams are in the midwest with a handful more in the southeast. A regional-based tourney doesn't work when one team who makes the semis is getting consistently mopped. This isn't a this-year kinda thing..it's been like this for long enough to be reality, not a trend.

The FCS is seeing much the same..and they did something about it and seeded the top 8 teams in the country and then take the remaining teams and try and pair them up being mindful of travel and do their best to limit long trips, while still having the top 8 teams put in a spot (deservedly so) in the best position to advance further in the tourney and make for more competitive balance in the event. The FCS doesn't have the budget to seed the entire event and have flights all over the place..and neither do we. However, keeping the regions model will continue to give us the same results we are already getting.
