For context, Roosevelt will be entering their first full season in D2 as part of their move from NAIA.

And struggled as an NAIA school to survive. Sad this will be a GLIAC school. They have no chance competing in that conference. But they had a football team, and the GLIAC was desperate for one!

To second Finchwidget, they actually do have a shot of being competitive with the bottom of the league. Will they ever finish above 6th place in the near(ish) future? No way. They will not be close to competitive with the teams at the top of the league, but NMU was probably one of the worst 5 teams in the whole country last year. I also don't think Wayne was as good as their record last year and indications are that are going to be trending downwards. The GLIAC is as good as it gets at the top but also just about as bad as it gets at the bottom.

Colorado Mesa Played them early last year. It was a good game. Mesa won and an offensive lineman threw a touchdown pass. Made Sports Center.

Saw that one. Rather surprising that Mars Hill decided to keep it at 10 games, especially when Livingstone is open W1 and is right up the road. Playing 1 game only to jump straight into 2 off weeks just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
