Yet many are picking Ashland for the win. I really don't know who SHOULD be the favorite as Ashland lost some top starters from last season. On paper, this sets up for a good game.

Well, numbers 1 and 2 played in the championship game last year. As you may recall, IUP did not. Numbers 3 and 4 lost to those teams in the semifinals coincidentally by the same margin. Being picked to win the NSIC (Minnesota State Mankato) tends to carry more weight than being picked to win the PSAC West (IUP). That puts you at 4.

Fifty-eight schools received votes. Seven of them are from the PSAC, and an eighth club that will be in the PSAC last year. That's not too shabby.

I haven't determined other conference representation, but would have to think that the PSAC has to have near the most representation. :good:

Also, Shepherd has replaced Cheyney on the PSAC site with the note that the Rams are joining 2019-2020.

Harding was the other semifinalist. Mankato went out the week before.
