Why would transfer wideouts worth their weight want to transfer to IUP over a Cal or SRU? You guys are a run first team

You would probably have to ask all of the ones who have transferred to IUP to get that answer.

We talked about it in the IUP/GU thread. Since Keefe went down their offense is to pound Jones ... averaging about 30 carries per game during that stretch. It's working but isn't sustainable. That's a heck of a workload week after week.

He averaged 24 carries last year in 11 games with a range of 16 (Ship) to 37 (Ville)

Last three weeks he's had 38, 28 and 31 carries. That's a serious load.

I haven't watched the tape of the carries. Maybe he doesn't take many shots. I know he gives a lot of them.

But, at that workload, it's a matter of time for an ankle, or something fluke. You don't see anybody (any level) getting 38 carries in a game.
