I agree to certain extent, especially when Lutz in the pregame basically predicted whichever RB had most yards his specific team would probably win. But Hills did have 3 catches as well; making his total touches 22, but McLaughlin touched it 36 times; but NDC had it 7 minutes longer; ROCK D was not good on third down to get Falcons off field and get Hills and offense back on field.

It just seemed like we were too eager to abandon the run when we got behind against West Chester and NDC. Who knows when a running back the caliber of Hills will set foot on campus again. I would have lived or died with the ball in his hands.

19 carries for the best back in the Region needs to be questioned that's a real problem in that game, 19-165 should of been 35 for 250....just sayin

I don't understand his underutilization today. I was wondering if he could have been injured. I expected him to pound away at NDC like he did last week in New Haven.

They want balance; they were perfect last week as far as yards. I think they were trying to throw early before the weather moved in; having said that I would have run something with Hills when it was 3 and 4 on their FG drive,

easier said than done. Got to be aware of baggage and how they fit in; Hills was respected by his teammates to be named captain in his only year and he seemed very team oriented.

There will be a lot of hype surrounding the team next year. Hopefully the players don't get complacent this offseason and show up ready to go in Detroit on Sept. 5.

It's an interesting debate, that's for sure. Hindsight is always 20/20, but for one of the few times in history, I agreed with the call Lutz made there. Looking back on it, as aggressive as he usually is (which is a main gripe I have with him), I'm really surprised he did not go for 2 there.

Huuu...Who would have thought that a supposed "one team conference" would have beaten the supposedly vastly superior conference...with a DIFFERENT team??

Bodes well for Shepherd next year!! Will be fun watching them smoke the PSAC every week next year!

Well deserved win by NDC to validate what has been obvious about the ballance between the two conferences for a while now.
