Not much to bump yet. There are a lot of names floating around of players (mid-year transfers) they are talking to ... nothing official to report yet. Oddly, one is a RB.

On the positive it doesn't sound like many are leaving on their own. Retention is key.

I'll stick up for IUP Ebbs here to an extent. Tort's past two teams had incredible talent. And, of course, 0 playoff wins.

You can't even reply to an opinion without resorting to personal attacks and name calling. Attempted abuse from an anonymous cyber poster.

Whether you care for him doesn't matter. If there were character issues they were addressed in the hiring process. It doesn't matter because he is the coach now and he's 31-6. You don't fire a 31-6 coach. In fact, you don't even raise the issue of firing a 31-6 coach unless there is some major abuse or infraction he is guilty of. Woody Hayes punched one of his players. For something that egregious you can go there but there is no reason to even think about it in Tort's case.

You are correct in that my opinion will have no impact on IUPs decisions to retain or change. That is the real world. However, this is a message board where fans express their opinions I have done so, and with supporting explanations.

I am in the minority on this. For now. A year from now there will be more voices after the results of 3 years of midlevel recruiting results are reflected in 8-4 season. Perhaps 7-5. And more excuses, finger pointing from the head coach, and rampant personal fouls against IUP.

Of course many will discount the penalties because of the convenient belief of bias against IUP.
