I'm a Steelers guy, but the Browns with Garrett have more playoff wins than the Steelers with Watt.
Take it easy, smart guy. I know Garrett’s a beast. I’ve stated that I wouldn’t sign Watt to a comparable deal. But if you feel the need to educate me on that too, I’m all ears.

    • Antonio Brown has been charged with Attempted Murder. Police have yet to locate/arrest him.

Not kids' stuff anymore. I hope he turns himself in.

        From 1932 to 1999 the Philadelphia Eagles were 405-490-25 as a franchise with three NFL titles in 1948, 1949 and 1960 in 5 title game appearances (1947, 1948, 1949, 1960, 1980)

        They have gone 268-162-2 since 2000 with 2 titles in 2017 and 2024 in 4 title game appearances (2004, 2017, 2022, 2024)

It was sure fun to watch and close out Father’s Day. The drama of the rain delay, running out of daylight, and the steady drizzle added to the story. Then there’s Oakmont, which never disappoints. For all of us weekend warrior golfers out there, there’s something about watching the best on the planet, who can sometimes look like robots they’re so good, struggle. I didn’t know much about J.J. Spaun before yesterday but he seemed like a really likable guy.

From about Hole 13 in, that was just crazy. There was about 6-8 guys still in at that point, which is obviously very rare in a Major. With 3 or 4 holes to go, (5) of them were tied for the lead at +1.

Witnessing a 64.5-foot, walk-off putt to win the U.S. Open ... insane. That's movie stuff. Sunday night. U.S. Open. National TV. Talk about ice in the veins.

The NBC angle didn't do it it justice. There are some incredible angles of it on Twitter from spectators. If he'd putt that 1,000 times I'm not sure he'd make it again.

What's crazy is J.J. Spaun looked dead in the water prior to the rain delay. It composed him and he just caught fire.

That was wild to watch the last 7-8 holes. Some of those guys just imploded ... slamming clubs, etc. Oakmont is just relentless.

I've watched those tournaments my whole life. That was one of the best endings (maybe the best) you'll ever see. It had it all -- and it didn't have the stars involved aside from Scotty lingering.

              • Best in a while. The putt fits well with the crazy shifting in the leaderboard all weekend. I was pulling for Hovland but happy for Spaun.

                • Not starting a new thread just to make an NBA comment so leaving it here…

Oklahomastan City doesn’t deserve a pro sports team much less a championship. Yinzerburgh would deserve an NBA title more and they don’t have a team.

After all they did steal that team from Seattle..a much better city.

Man, Aaron Rodgers could say the sky is blue and it would get people riled up (speaking about the national sports media, not you). He’s 41 and signed a relatively cheap one year deal. How is it earth shattering news that this is more than likely his last season? He was asked a question and answered it honestly. I’m mostly being over the top and facetious when I speak about him, but as the days go by I am praying he and the Steelers have a great season. A lot of the narratives around him are ridiculous.

I’m glad I’m an Eagles fan.

                        • Steelers just traded for Jalen Ramsey. They clearly believe they can win, and win big, this season even if virtually no one outside of the organization agrees.

Update: It appears to be a straight up trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick. Woah.

Update to the update: Another trade with the Dolphins gives Rodgers another target in TE Jonnu Smith. Double woah.

Yeah but you still have Grandpa Rodgers.

As much of a Steelers fan as I am, I can't help but wonder what the hell they're thinking at Rooney Hall. Never mind Aaron Rodgers, I think it's fair to wonder what Jalen Ramsey has left in him. There's a reason he's been traded twice in the past three years (LA Rams to Miami two years ago, now Miami to Pittsburgh) after he was traded from Jacksonville to the Rams in 2019.

                              • This trade puzzles me a bit because I'm not sure if this is an upgrade or not. Was Fitzpatrick a locker room liability? I don't recall ever hearing that. I didn't think we were in need of additional TE help, but whatever.

I haven't been able to find a clear answer, but I wonder if this helps clear some cap room to give Watt a deal close to what he wants.
