D2 Poll has us over Slippery Rock now at #8, AFCA has us I think at #10.

Slippery hasn't been as convincing in their wins over some mid level teams. The way Shepherd disposed of IUP really woke up a lot of people. Even I was suprised a little by the second half execution.

        Just a curious question:

How many weeks in a row has the same person been offensive or defensive player of the week?

Folks, you might want to keep your ear to the ground. Tomorrow's Shippensburg-Shepherd women's soccer match has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns. No word on which school was having the problem.

Sounds like the issue was at SHEP. SHIP Women's Soccer announcement says the game may be rescheduled and their next game will be Saturday versus KUTZ. Don't think they'd be talking about a game 3 days away if they had a Covid problem.

I lurk on here 99% of the time but I'm a parent of a Shepherd player and I can tell you that at least the defense is not overlooking Kutztown. They understand the stakes. The way it sounds to me they were more overamped to play IUP because they remembered the IUP coach saying after the playoff loss in '19 they would beat the Rams 9 out of 10 times and that game was the one time they'd lose. The Rams wanted to make him eat those words last weekend. Kutztown is pretty much all business to them even if there's a bit of a revenge factor from the last time they played in Shepherdstown.

To be fair, if some of IUP's fans wouldn't talk about how overmatched Shepherd is before every game, maybe they wouldn't always be so pumped up for IUP.

I mean for Tort to say they'd have won 9/10 times, that's bulletin board stuff there. Football teams always use that crap for fuel and added motivation. Tell your boys to kill them with kindness and maybe Shepherd shows up for round 7 asleep with IUP so you guys might grab a win?

I'm sure that linebacker corp is chomping at the bit for this matchup. Kutztown is a well balanced offense and can do a lot of things well. Shep's athletic linebackers will be all over the field on this one.

                              There's arrogant and there's arrogant.

Confidence in the team, not arrogance. Trust me. I have zero impact on the games.
