WEEK 1

Shepherd at Southern Connecticut State: SCSU has really fallen off while Shep remains strong.

West Liberty at Clarion: I think the depleted Golden Eagles fans are happy to move on from Weibel ball while Hilltopper fans wish they could move on from Waialae.

Fairmont State at California: Will be a good first look at a newly balanced Vulcan offensive attack.

East Stroudsburg at Pace: I think Jimmy T & the Warriors are the dark horses of the East.

Charleston at Gannon: Charleston pulls the spark plugs on LitAF

Millersville at Saint Anselm: Several years ago this would have been a glorified scrimmage even for struggling Ville.

Seton Hill at Wheeling: Seton Hill shouldn't be allowed in the PSAC or DII. I'm not even sure Wheeling should either. But they're probably better.

Bentley at West Chester: A pretty good one to start off the year. BZ always has solid teams.

Kutztown at Assumption: Another good first game.

Lock Haven at Post: I hope LHU can get off the ground.

Edinboro at Franklin Pierce: Franklin Pierce was primaried as a sitting president. It led to him becoming a heavy drinker, which I recommend for any FPU football fan.

Shippensburg at West Virginia State: Is this the year Coach Mac improves?

Stonehill at Bloomsburg: Huskies still paying the price for forcing a coaching change.

Mercyhurst at Alderson Broaddus: Yawn.

Wayne State at Slippery Rock: Not long ago this was a great game. Barring bad weather, Slip will get 9,000 at this game.

West Virginia at Pitt: Pitt is It.

West Virginia at Pitt- the key will not be the former USC qbs, I think Pitt's D line should control this game

Fairmont State at California - It's logical

East Stroudsburg at Pace - This should be a good game. ESU wins narrowly.

Charleston at Gannon - Charleston too strong.

Millersville at Saint Anselm - This is also a competitive game. Marauders can't pull off the W.

Seton Hill at Wheeling - SHU improved?

Bentley at West Chester - Rams get revenge. This is the Game of the Week, IMO.

Kutztown at Assumption - Competitive game, also. Going with home field advantage.

Lock Haven at Post - LHU looks dangerous to me. Incredible recruitment job by the new HC and his staff.

Edinboro at Franklin Pierce - Boro is better.

Shippensburg at West Virginia State - Ship is Ship.

Stonehill at Bloomsburg - Not a good day for the Huskies.

West Liberty at Clarion - I have no idea what to expect in this one but WL won 4-5 games last year and returns a lot of that group. Cannot see Clarion pulling this out but hope they keep it close

Fairmont State at California - rethinking where I picked Cal pre-season - their two deep for game 1 looks solid. interesting to not see McGriff in the mix at RB?

East Stroudsburg at Pace - ESU has been building, I think continue the rise

Charleston at Gannon - if not now for Gannon then never, I really think they could do some damage this year

Millersville at Saint Anselm - Ville is getting better, they need to show it here

Seton Hill at Wheeling - call me crazy but I think Seton Hill could be a problem for a lot of teams this year. they made some big strides last year and return a lot
