I've been to Phillipi (some years ago), and it struck me as a very small, decent enough town that wasn't near much of anything else. Shippensburg is not a big town, but at least you can jump into a car and find something to do within reasonable driving distance.

They had transfers from the following:
    Akron
    Fairmont State
    Florida International
    Kansas
Old Dominion (Lock Haven before that)
    Seton Hill
    Tiffin
    Towson

They are still there? I thought they moved since the built a Top Golf on that property…

I don’t think they are the Main Baptist Group either.

Mars Hill is about 6.5 hours from Cal. That's pretty doable. Would definitely be a long overnight trip - head down Friday, quick run through, stay in a hotel, play the game, leave after getting a bite to eat and get home Saturday night. Cal to Mars Hill is 6.5 hours. Gannon & Mercyhurst to West Chester is 6 hours.

They had a competitive cheer squad. I have no idea what that entails, but they went to large competitions. I have no idea how much money they spent on it.

Both booked AIU at a FCS and West Georgia host Limestone. Like I said screwed unless they can find a D3 team.
