Hopeful that iup gives them a couple first downs so we don’t have to rely on a punt return to finish the game

Ashland is not punting in this situation.

I have so rarely seen such a terrible offensive line and special team play yet a defense play so well and win a game. What a fun Thursday night! Go Hawks!

That secondary isn't kids anymore. Nasty.

Lot to clean up (and fire the special teams coach) but that wasn't some slouch. Ashland is very tough.

You have to like the way IUP came back from that punt fumble and how the D held Ashland to a FG. The team showed some resolve digging out of that hole. I have to think the special teams and o-line will improve as the year progresses. At this point in time, the IUP Angry Mob still has the tool shed behind the Flemming Street Apartments on lock down, although I sensed a slight disturbance as IUP went diown 17-14.

                            They announced (I think) 5,292.

It was over 6,000 in reality

This IUP defense is better than the 2017 Defense. Karst has so much talent he just makes some bad decisions. The WR core has so much talent. The transfer from Albany #17 is the best WR in the region. The defense gave up 3 points the whole game. A big time win for tort and the hawks!!

Also how great was it to see Stewart out there playing, incredible comeback from the ACL surgery.
