It's unfortunate and very well could cost them a playoff spot. I doubt they sweep Cal/SRU (likely split). That leaves no room for another slip (or a fourth timeout).
When I coached high school, we continually checked each other on the headsets on timeouts. On top of that, it was one person’s responsibility to track them. In high school especially you can’t trust clock operators so we never looked at the scoreboard. My point is, for no single coach to chime in there and remind everyone that there were no timeouts is almost unbelievable. I’d love to hear the conversation that went on after the final timeout was called.

I stopped playing organized football in middle school in favor of baseball for the remainder of my athletic career. At 12 years old, every time the offense took the field, we communicated how many time outs we had. I'm not sure how that happens in middle school, but not on the sideline for a team that think they have legitimate postseason aspirations in Division 2 college football.

The head of officials told Tort the refs screwed up and that it should have been a 15 yard penalty pal.

Refs rarely make that call. Cry me a river!

            ...and yes...Torts ****ed it up.
I get more aggravated at them than anyone! LOL

But seriously, I know that Shepherd has good coaches, even if there are things I wish that they would change up.

Good Lord, IUP was right at the goal-line with plenty of time to win the game. The refs didn't lose it for you.

Amen. On top of that, it was probably only a 50/50 chance IUP would hit the field goal, even from point blank range. The kicker has shown an uncanny ability to miss extra points with no pressure on him and a good snap. In fact, he did it earlier in the game. Referees had nothing to do with IUP losing the game.

IUP has now been victimized by a score board twice when dealing with ESU.

                  :-)
Talk about an unsubstantiated accusation, and I'm not talking about the IUP scoreboard...

I’m just imitating you. You still showed no proof IUP trashed your run down visitor locker room.

Lack of attention to detail usually loses it for IUP.

You're right. In all the hubbub about the chaotic ending, there have been only a few comments on how the missed extra point put them in position to lose the game.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

This gets masked 75% of the season against teams IUP can simply overpower. It unfortunately rears its ugly head in games against teams more evenly matched (like both games this year so far). For as easy as IUP could be 2-0 it could also be 0-2.

...and still no proof. No proof of the locker room and no proof one of our trainers was a meanie on the field.

How would you have even known that sitting up on your high horse announcing the game?

Your baseless hatred of IUP is pathetic.
