The Huskies battled to the very last down, but ESU punished them physically at the line of scrimmage all day. ESU will look at film and see several opportunities they did not take advantage of or it easily could have been 35-16.

It is strange to see ESU gain more rushing yards and Bloom more passing yards. ESU playing smash mouth football on offense under Jimmy T. is unexpected.

Best start to an ESU season since Jimmy T. was a sophomore. First time ESU beat both WCU and Bloom in the same season since 1991. That's pretty good.

Everything that's shaking out today cements my view that this conference has one very good team in 2023. And maybe one other on the edge of being a playoff team.

Region 1 is Slimey and 6 teams that wouldn’t make the playoffs in any other region and Slimey will be run off the field in the national semis if they don’t choke the regional rounds.

See, I still think the PSAC will have 3-4 teams in the playoffs. I absolutely believe that the conference is down. SRU and everyone else is trying to get to that level. But when you look around, the other conferences aren't exactly trotting out a lot of playoff teams.

I unfortunately did not get to watch the BU v ESU game due to a prior engagement. After looking at the box score/play-by-play I get the distinct impression that BU held their own with ESU and probably could have won had they not thrown a pick to give ESU good field position (not to take credit away from the ESU defense for making it happen) and especially not taking a false start on 4th and goal from the 1.

i can certainly give credit to Bloom for their game plan. They threw the ball well enough to stay in the game, but ESU's run defense forced Bloom into a passing attack.

Bloom did have a new QB today; being last in scoring offense in the conference may have led to a change of philosophy.

So is Warrior Voice the idiots who do ESU broadcast. TERRIBLE! They said #1 Ron Long on reception for ESU, well Ron Long plays DB for Bloom! Do they know how to Read?? Then the Play Sheptock throw the Red Flag and he was right the 2 announcers didn't even know the rule! Actually Bloom should have threw the Red Flag on Monocos TD because on replay he did break the goal line

Nope. I'm the radio guy. Mistakes happen though. I've made my share of them over the 30+ years I've been calling games. How many games have you called?

Not shocking, but Rock 42, Cal 21

Anyone who's endured Cal football over the years has to be getting tired of consistently coming up short against Slippery Rock and the other "powers" of the PSAC.

Tort is safe, no question about that. I just wish Tort make some changes with his coaching staff. The secondary has a ton a talented players and they continue to get roasted in big play. The OL was suppose to be their strength and they were by far the worst unit on the team. But I believe a ton of players will be jumping into the transfer portal since we all know Tort will be blaming the players for the season.

Ok, but Tort needs to have answers. I don't see how Tort could be safe right now.

Just like that, Bloomsburg gets two big passing plays and scores. Now 14-7, 1:42 in the 2nd.

I'm old enough to remember when passing was practically frowned upon at Bloomsburg...
