  • Week 10 Regional Rankings

    SUPER REGION ONE
    1 Slippery Rock 10-0 9-0
    2 Tiffin 10-0 10-0
    3 Charleston (West Virginia) 8-1 8-1
    4 California (Pennsylvania) 7-2 7-2
    5 Kutztown 8-2 8-2
    6 Shepherd 8-2 8-2
    7 East Stroudsburg 8-2 8-2
    8 Fairmont State 8-2 8-2
    9 Frostburg State 6-3 6-3
    10 New Haven 6-2 6-2

A little bit surprising to me that New Haven didn't climb over Frostburg. They'll still likely get earned access with a win over Bentley, with one of Fairmont and Frostburg guaranteed a loss, but still... worth noting.

EDIT: Forgot that Frostburg beat New Haven week 1. With the same # of D2 wins, that makes sense.

It's kind of how I expected things to look this week with the exception of New Haven being a little higher. However, I do see them at least getting EA with a win over Bentley.

Esu and cal is essentially a play in game?

More than likely, although the winner still isn't guaranteed. But the loser seems like they are definitely out.

Doubtful. A loss to a undefeated team is not going to hurt them much, especially since they are at 5 now, if they were at 7 they would be in serious danger.

That is the $1 Million Question. I think they would stay in, but it would be a close call.

                  No.

They do not penalize the loser of a conference championship game.

They will be the 7 seed if they lose.

My worry with that would be EA taking them out.

There is still a human factor. If Kutztown gets blown out of the stadium that will kill them.

They will not punish a conference title game loser for a pity case.

To a top ranked team in the region while New Haven plays a very unranked Bentley.

If New Haven wins, they'll be 9th at least. Either Fairmont or Frostburg is going to lose, since they play each other. I absolutely feel like Kutztown belongs, but I feel they are more vulnerable than you think.

If Cal wins, they are 100% guaranteed. If ESU wins, I'd put the chances at 99%. I just can't see how they would be ranked any lower than 6th.
