It will be interesting to see who the QB will be this season. Will it be Riley or will Reis come back for graduate school? One of the other 3 qbs on the roster is in the portal. I don't think they recruited a qb last year, but have commitments from Central Mtn. and Trinity qbs this year.

Hard to get excited about either of those two under center. Neither has consistently shown the ability to make the offense run without putting the ball up for grabs either through fumbles or bad throws.

A source said there is also a good qb from south jersey named Connor Leary who is first cousin of Devin Leary Univ of Kentucky qb

Not sure that perspective works. Both QBs are talented and have played well at times but the last thing to say is that they turned the ball over. The offense threw 4 int all year and not sure they had 3 fumbles among them. The issue is they don't throw TD passes. Only 4 were thrown all year. Is that a product of the system? Bloom doesn't go vertical much but maybe that will change this year. Bloom ranked 9th in passing in the PSAC w a run heavy offense. QB is the least of the Huskies worry for 2024.

I expect they will be bringing 2 or 3 more QBs in as Bart has mentioned.

I agree with Huskie14, qb's haven't really had a chance to throw the rock. Seemed like Shippensburg game was the game they wanted to throw more, in a driving rain storm. Love to see Bloom return to respectability!!

"The Huskies are expecting to welcome 19 new players to the pack. The newest Huskies hail from four different states and feature 14 plays on the offensive side of the ball and five on the defensive side."

Seems like a lot of skill positions.

Possibly 4 qbs. Somewhat surprised to see NASSIR JONES transfer to SRU, which could explain 2 new TEs.

Jones was a good player but he was a backup to Matt Bowes for 2 years. Bowes returns this year from injury and will be an upgrade.

Should be interesting to see how much PT he gets at the rock.

Good TE's are great weapons so hopefully the Huskies picked up 2 good ones.

Bloom had 17 players celebrated as seniors walking for their last game against IUP. Spring practice has 7 of them returning for their 5th or 6th year as seniors or graduates students: QB Reis, DB Long, DB Charlton, LB Goetz, OL Westcott, LB Seesholtz, K/P McGoningle. Some returning starters there.

I think the OC is missing.
