Whoops. I thought the realignment was this year.

That will make the Pee Sack even more dominant come playoff time/

Read the Shippensburg season preview today. We have four guys with senior eligibility and 63 with freshman eligibility. Think I'll fasten my seat belt for this one.

Those four will be buying a lot of beer.

Good one. It's going to go one of two ways. Either they'll take their lumps this year, learn the ropes, and have a pretty good team in a couple of years, or they'll get discouraged, depart, and we'll be back where we started. Naturally, I'd like the first option. We shall see.

Reading the Pick 'em comments, seems everyone is shocked.

I just put that on there for motivation. Congratulations on the big win.

Well come up with something else this week for bulletin board material. Bloom's new offense is on tape for the first time, so the next team will have them scouted.

If you believe in comparing scores Bloom should be able to get to 2-0.

What are you trying to put the jinx on? Stutzman flipped the coin for yesterday's game.

Well, I'm scouting LHU right now. They are up 14-7 early in the 2nd quarter.

LHU is pretty interesting. If you can bring a bunch of transfer skill players together and get them to gel quickly you are going to have a leg up.

Ostrowski, LHU starting QB, looks to have a lot of potential. Kind of feeling his way right now. But he's a big, mobile guy with a strong arm. Ship transfer Falco, who was #1 during the Spring, appears to be the #3 QB now. LHU has 3 quality RB's, including the Ohio U. transfer who was a WR and saw no playing time at Ohio.

Lock Haven leads 28-7 with 4:05 left before halftime. LHU had a 41-yd TD pass (almost all of it in the air) to go up 21-7, then a 40-yd completion to set up the recent TD.

Downfield passing looks to be on point. Strong run play like LHU has generally been known for. Glenville State did fumble the ball at midfield while moving the ball, but that fumble was in large part to the D-line getting into the backfield quickly blowing up the play.

So far, it appears coach has done a solid job feeding off of last season’s success.

Cal leads Charleston 19-14. Just as I turned it on Cal just scored on a ~ 42-yd rushing TD. Went for 2, but failed to convert.

Announcers are talking as though Charleston has been playing deflated for a period of time.

Sure enough, Ship isn't anything to write home about. Down 28-3 midway through the fourth at American International.
