Bucknell qb looks to have about 65 or so snaps in 3 years. Va Tech qb was a walk on in Blacksburg that does not have a snap on record. Probable casualty of the new roster limits.[/QUOTE

What's the story on the Bucknell QB Christian Petruzzello that Ship got and Shep also got the Gettysburg transfer QB that had offers from Ship, Bloom, and others. Bringing in 3 transfer qbs is unusual.

That is a boatload of talent to lose. I believe they also lost their other top 3 receivers to graduation.

Ship has lost a couple of people in the portal I'd rather they not have lost, but they seem to have kept a large majority of Mac's big class from last year. Guess we'll see what that means next season. They need some home run hitters at running back and receiver. The few they've had in recent years have gotten away.

I do wonder if that's going to really hurt the number of guys who transfer within the conference. Some clear high performers posting no offers so far is also surprising. Someone like Wilfredo Diaz. Coach Malpica doesn't seem to have any offers either.
I wonder if the looming scholarship cap increase has FCS/G5s offering guys who would previously have been preferred walk-ons or even regular walk-ons just so that they don’t get a reputation as “cheap.”
